Our Dacha.

A shared home for life together.

The idea

Life is better
when you share
a little of it.

The plans. The everyday things.
And a place that feels like yours.

Our Dacha gives two people a private shared home: a calendar you both read, the lists that keep life moving, and an illustrated world to spend a little time in together.

I built the app and the world around it, from the first screen to the systems that keep it running.

The work behind the world

Every detail.
All the way through.

01

A shared everyday

The calendar, lists and private space that belong to one couple.

02

A place with character

Rooms to explore, a town to wander, and small moments worth coming back for.

03

Everything underneath

The database, private access rules, shared state, notifications and the infrastructure that connects your two devices.

Backend & infrastructure

A private world.
A working backend.

I built the services that connect two people’s devices and keep their shared world together.

Private at the data layer.
Accounts, shared data and media sit behind access policies scoped to each couple. Permissions are enforced by the backend.
Together across devices.
Shared state, private realtime channels and mobile notifications connect the two sides of a dacha. Backend logic handles the actions that change that shared state.
Built to be operated.
The engineering includes release pipelines, support tooling, encrypted backup scripts and isolated restore checks for the database and stored media.

Another world, very different rules
