Websites & studio software

Julia Lexx.

Two websites.
One working studio.

I designed and built Julia’s commercial and wedding websites, the client brief builder, the studio app and the shared backend behind them.

My role Product, backend & infrastructure

Photography Julia Lexx

The commercial website I built: full-screen imagery, oversized serif typography and navigation for food, beauty and product photography
Commercial photography

A cinematic portfolio for food, beauty and product work.

The separate weddings website: a couple’s portrait, a quieter editorial layout and navigation for weddings, portraits and family sessions
Weddings & portraits

A more intimate home for weddings, families and portraits. Mobile view

The experience

Designed
to move.

From the opening image to the horizontal reel, I built the motion and responsive layouts around the pace of Julia’s work.

The client workflow

An enquiry.
A useful brief.

A guided form gathers the project in four steps. I built the workflow that turns those answers into a branded PDF and brings the enquiry into the studio’s pipeline.

The studio software

Both websites.
One workspace.

I built the app Julia uses to publish stories, manage enquiries and client records, and follow the calendar and inbox.

Backend & infrastructure

The studio runs
on more than images.

I built the shared backend that connects the public websites to Julia’s private workspace.

One source for the work.
A database for stories, enquiries and client records, with separate media storage. Both websites read published content through authenticated server APIs.
Email that can be retried.
Incoming mail is archived before entering a persistent delivery queue. Failed deliveries are retried, and message IDs prevent duplicate records in the studio inbox.
A boundary around the studio.
Signed administrator sessions protect the workspace. The public websites have limited routes for published content, availability and enquiry intake.
